It is important to note that the Fluval Plant 3.0 will become less effective, when it comes to growing plants, if it is higher above your fish tank. Therefore, you want to keep it close enough so that the fixture will be able to give plenty of light for your aquatic plants.

Fluval recommends that you clean the LED cleans on a weekly basis to prevent the buildup of algae, minerals, dust particles and other containments that may end up blocking the lights from hitting your fish tank.

Compatible Smartphone or Mobile Device
If you want to control the Fluval Plant 3.0 by using your smartphone or mobile device, then you need to make sure that the controlling device is compatible with the fish tank light fixture.
