1. If you have lost the password for the aquarium lighting fixture, then the first step we recommend taking is to try inputting “000000” (without the quotation marks).
The aforementioned passcode is the default password that you are supposed to enter when you setup your Aquasky 2.0, Marine 3.0, Marine Nano 3.0, Plant 3.0 or Plant Nano 3.0 for the first time using the FluvalSmart App.
If you haven’t changed the password at all since setting up the lighting fixture, then entering “000000” may work.
2. If inputting the default password does not work, then you will need to contact Fluval about recovering it.
In order to do so, you first need to tap the “Forgot Password” option in the FluvalSmart App when it asked you to enter one.
3. In the Retrieve Password notification, you then need to tap the Copy option.
4. Next, you need to email Fluval by using the following adress: [email protected]
In the email, you should to ask for a Retrieve Key. Make sure you also include the information that you copied from Step #3.
5. The technical support team at Fluval should then reply back and send you the Retrieve Key.
6. Copy the Retrieve Key that was sent to your from Fluval.
7. Go back to the Retrieve Password notification in the FluvalSmart App from Step #3.
8. On the Retrieve Password notification, you need to tap the Retrieve option.
9. You should now be able to see the password for your Aquasky 2.0, Marine 3.0, Marine Nano 3.0, Plant 3.0 or Plant Nano 3.0.
Make sure you remember or make note of the password so that you won’t have to recover it again.
