What’s the difference between Seachem Entice and Garlic Guard?

Seachem has two similar flavor enhancers for fish food with Entice and Garlic Guard. So, what are the major differences between these two products?

You can find out in this comparison guide at Aquarium Blueprints.

Quick Summary

Both the Seachem Entice and Seachem Garlic Guard will make fish food enticing for your freshwater and saltwater fish. With that said, Entice works best if you have saltwater angels and/or butterflies who are picky eaters.

Seachem Garlic Guard is the only one of these two products designed to work with medicated fish food or fish food that were pre-soaked with medication. Not to mention that the garlic also adds Vitamin C, which is a healthy anti-oxidant, to the diet of your pet fish.

If you can only pick one of these products, then we recommend getting the Seachem Garlic Guard as it can be used with medication and also adds Vitamin C.

If you have saltwater angels and/or butterflies who aren’t eating, however, then you might want to pick up the Seachem Entice instead.
