What treatment schedule should you use for PraziPro?

The Aquarium Solutions and Hikari PraziPro has three treatment schedules that you can follow to help with curing your fish from flatworms, flukes, tapeworms and turbellarians.

You can check out this guide from Aquarium Blueprints to see which plan you should follow.

Before we begin, it is important to note that PraziPro will be less effective if you are using activated carbon, protein skimmer and/or UV sterilizer in your fish tank. Therefore, you need to remove these during treatment.

Furthermore, most of the parasites treated by PraziPro can live for up to 28 days. Therefore, we recommend treating for that length of time in order to fully eradicate flatworms, flukes, tapeworms and turbellarians.

Aggressive PraziPro Treatment Schedule

If you have a major outbreak of flatworms, flukes, tapeworms and turbellarians, then you might want to be more aggressive when it comes to dosing PraziPro. According to Aquarium Solutions and Hikari, you can safely dose PraziPro as frequently as once every 3 days.

For this plan, you need to do the following:
